Team

Lauren Brown

Owner | Level 2 Trainer

Lauren has been passionate about CrossFit for over 10 years, and it’s this love for the sport that led her to become the owner of CODE 541. With a deep-rooted commitment to helping others achieve their goals, she has been coaching since 2018, bringing both expertise and enthusiasm to every class. As a Level 2 CrossFit Trainer, Lauren is not only highly knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in creating an environment where athletes thrive.

Known for her energy and motivational spirit, Lauren leads the early morning sessions where she challenges her athletes to push beyond their limits and unlock their full potential. Whether it’s offering guidance on technique or providing that extra push when it’s needed most, Lauren is always there to support her community.

When she’s not in the gym, Lauren enjoys spending quality time outdoors, camping and exploring nature with her husband and son. She’s a firm believer in the importance of balance, and for Lauren, there’s nothing better than taking a break from the gym and get outside.

Jon Sustaita

Level 2 Trainer

CrossFit has been a driving force in Jon’s life since 2015, starting as an enthusiastic gym-goer and quickly evolving into a dedicated competitor. His passion for fitness and personal growth led him to begin coaching in 2017, where he’s been able to share his expertise and experience with others ever since.

Jon is an L2 CrossFit Trainer and holds certifications from the CrossFit Gymnastics Course and Catalyst Athletics Olympic Weightlifting, making him well-rounded in his approach to coaching.

Jon can be found coaching a variety of CODE 541 classes - from CrossFit, to Gymnastics and Olympic Weightlifting. He is deeply passionate about helping athletes not only reach their fitness goals but also develop new skills, push past plateaus, and ignite their competitive spirit.

Jaye Gibb

Level 2 Trainer

Jaye has been passionate about CrossFit for 10 years. She loves the constant challenges, the variety of movements, and the strong sense of community at CODE 541. Whether she’s coaching early morning classes or teaching virtually, Jaye’s infectious energy and enthusiasm are always on display.

Holding her Level 2 certification, Jaye brings not only her knowledge but a genuine excitement to every class. You can catch her on the schedule early mornings smiling, energized, and ready to guide and cheer you on in your fitness journey.

With a passion for helping others reach their goals, Jaye is more than just a coach – she’s a constant source of motivation and support. Her commitment to your success is matched only by her love for making fitness fun!

Kaitlin Marciel

Level 2 Trainer

Kaitlin has been immersed in CrossFit since 2017 and began coaching in 2018. While she has always gravitated toward fast-paced, sub-six-minute workouts that include a barbell, she’s recently been embracing the challenge and discipline of endurance training.

As a coach, Kaitlin is passionate about building genuine connections. She’s driven by the stories and motivations that bring people into the gym and keep them coming back. Her philosophy is rooted in the belief that movement is essential for longevity—after all, the ability to squat well is linked to a longer lifespan.

Whether you're chasing a new PR or simply looking to move better, Kaitlin is here to support your journey—one rep at a time.

Greg Brown

Level 2 Trainer

Greg has been immersed in the world of CrossFit for over a decade, dedicating multiple years to coaching at CODE 541. Prior to that, he spent four years coaching at his home box in Southern California. Greg’s passion for CrossFit shines through in everything he does, combining his knowledge and experience to inspire athletes of all levels. He holds both his Level 2 Trainer and Gymnastics Course Certificates, bringing a wealth of expertise to the gym.

Greg leads the weekend classes and frequently fills in during his time off from his full-time job of teaching 4th grade. When he can, he plans some "fun warm-up games" for classes, and there is a good chance you will hear some 80s Rock tunes on his class playlist.

Greg enjoys hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and spending time with his wife and dog, Shiloh during his time away from the gym.

Josh Oberman

Level 2 Trainer

If you’ve met Josh, you already know: he brings the perfect combo of humor, positivity, and genuine connection to every room he walks into.

Josh found CrossFit back in 2015 and immediately fell in love with the community, the challenge, and those post-WOD endorphins we all chase. He’s since earned his CF-L2, coached at multiple gyms, and even built an underground gym out of his dog daycare during COVID (yes… really).

What drives him most? Helping people discover what they’re capable of — physically, mentally, and emotionally. To Josh, every workout is a stand for health, growth, and building a stronger community.

Stephanie Peters

Hyrox Coach

Stephanie is a lifelong endurance athlete who brings grit, purpose, and high-energy coaching to Code 541’s HYROX program. With experience in multiple half and full Ironman distance triathlons, she’s also an accomplished bike racer, runner, and nordic and alpine skier who loves long days of movement in the mountains. She was drawn to HYROX’s blend of running under fatigue combined with functional strength, strategy, and resilience. For Stephanie, HYROX is the perfect fusion of efficiency and intensity: high-intensity intervals, purposeful strength training, and measurable progress in every session.

After joining CODE 541 three years ago, she discovered how functional strength training elevated her performance—and HYROX has become the perfect blend of her passions. She loves the strong sense of community the sport creates and believes athletes go further when they train together. As a HYROX Group Instructor, Stephanie enjoys coaching athletes to push with smart intensity and confidence. She is a resource on race strategy, pacing, and running efficiency and is passionate about building a supportive, hard-working class environment. Outside the gym, you’ll find her trail running, mountain biking, skiing, and adventuring with her husband and two kids.
